Shogun dinner on last Sunday

Last Sunday dinner with friend Peggy, she is nephew's kaima. He's going to further study and work in China next month so she treats dinner at Shogun, Sunway Pyramid.

Then she bought toys for my sons at Toys R Us as my son promised to eat rice. She offers to buy him toys as knowing he doesn't like to eat rice at all. So he ate 3 spoonful of rice while crying.

Both sons so happy and have started playing their toys. Lego toys is the choice of my eldest son, while youngest son chosen the Dino Power Ranger toy.

We reached home late at night as the mall closed at 10pm and many people rushing back home on that hour. Usually my youngest would sleep at 8pm as he needs to wake up early for kindergarten next day.

Talking about toys, wanna know which toys auntie Peggy have bought them? Do click on the link to view it.

Clean & Clear® Launches Campaign to Help Teenagers Find Their Courage

Teenage years can be some of the most daunting, as they experience some of the most drastic developments to their emotional, physical and social well-being during these years. Part of these developments include the struggle to control the blemishes and oiliness surfacing on their constantly changing skin.

These struggles can be particularly difficult for teenage girls, with research showing that a staggering 70% of girls age 15 to 17 avoid their daily activities when they feel bad about their looks and that 7 in 10 girls also believe that they are not good enough or do not measure up in some way1.

Bearing this in mind, it is no surprise that much of their anxiety and self-judgement revolves around their appearance. In fact, teenage girls spend up to 7.7 hours per week on their looks and in front of the mirror, more than any other demographic2. This is worrying, as research also shows that the longer you gaze into the mirror, the more anxious and judgemental you become about your looks.3

So how do we empower our girls to be their most courageous self? How do we help them combat their self-judgement?

Johnson & Johnson Sdn Bhd, Country Director, Retail Group, Mr Stuart Crabb

Take back the mirror with ReadyFace

The experts have spoken: people who smile4 more frequently or do a power pose5 feel more confident about themselves.

According to Johnson & Johnson Sdn Bhd, Country Director, Retail Group, Mr Stuart Crabb “As a youth-driven brand, Clean & Clear® understands the struggles that teens experience. What’s going on in their lives is reflected on their faces – puberty, exam stress, being active in sports and fast food consumption, resulting in breakouts. Breakouts results in self-doubt and loss of confidence. Puberty and teenage angst play havoc on skin and on self-confidence and self-image.”

“At Clean & Clear® we believe that beauty comes from being confident, comfortable and secure in your own skin. That is why we want to introduce teenagers in Malaysia to ReadyFace, a concept that empowers you to channel your most courageous self”,said Mr Crabb. It can be a smile, a look, a gesture, or saying in front of the mirror that provides individuals with the confidence they need to take on everyday challenges.”

Clean & Clear®’s Newly Formulated Foaming Facial Wash

To help girls find their ReadyFace, Clean & Clear® has launched a newly formulated, oil-free Foaming Facial Wash that helps prevent pimples, oily shine and blackheads; thoroughly removing oil and dust without over-drying skin. The new Foaming Facial Wash promises to leave skin feeling clean, clear and radiant; and, best of all, controls oil for up to 8 hours!

By getting noticeably clearer, more beautiful skin, teens are empowered to take back the mirror, flash their ReadyFace, and become their most beautiful self.

Take back the mirror with #ReadyFace

In conjunction with the introduction of ReadyFace campaign, the Clean & Clear® Malaysia Facebook page is helping teens to define their #ReadyFace with rewards that include sets of Essentials Foaming Facial Wash & Oil Control Film.

Teens are encouraged to be part of the movement by sending in their #ReadyFace selfies. For inspiration check out the Hall of #ReadyFace on the Facebook page, and be in the running for attractive prizes including fashion retail gift cards worth RM300 and product hampers worth RM100.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a teen, or a teen at heart, show the world your ReadyFace.

Fake Ice Watch?!

I am sad to say my son's watch is broken, I still have spare watch for him to use. I saw an Ice Watch at a shop and the price RM35, I saw the colour of pink, blue and yellow. I am attracted to pink so nice but no idea if it is water proof. I didn't purchase it as I find price still expensive for me. Anyway the seller in shop has no idea if the watch is water proof!

I am thinking of getting myself a watch budget RM10. I think cheap watch can last probably a year or two year. I remembered past purchase a watch from Petaling Street, KL and it can last me for two years. I seldom go Petaling Street so I don't know how much is watch selling there now.

Do you wear a watch? How much value is your watch?

Children running wild in class

I am must say bravo to the teachers, I don't know how the teacher can teach today. I find some children running wild in class, even in my son's class. They don't pay attention in class and do not respect teachers. Teacher complained of the children to the parents' some parents are okay if teachers punished them in class or change their seating arrangement.

We never forget the old folk saying that it takes three days to be bad, it takes three years to be good! These words are in Chinese, an aunt confessed with me that her son has become smoker at young age because he mixed with boys that smoke during young.

Being parents we are concern and worry of our children, we want to be there to protect them. No matter how old they are, they will always be our baby.

Talking of children, I think of the missing boy that found dead William Yau, he's six year old. He touches everyone's heart; he was out of his car looking for his parents because his one year old sister cried while his eldest brother seven year old cares for her. I hope police will catch whoever that did bad things to this little boy!

No personal time for me!

I am feeling stress because I feel like I am going back to school, no kidding checking on all the homework and guiding him to do them. It is madness that some I don't even understand, bravo to the teachers I don't know how they can teach so many children in one class. I find it difficult just to teach one child!

Tonight is the night I get to have my time, yeah I am dragging my dear along with me because I want watch a movie with him. The movie is not near my house so I don't know how to go, I must have my dear to go with him because he knows the route! Too bad most of my friends are busy, one of them changed job and working in Bangsar which is far for her to come for movie with me. She loves to watch horror movie just like me!

My dear is not a fan of horror movie, oh well I am going to keep it a secret until we are there. The last horror movie we saw frightened us! Yeah never forget that movie we seen it in Midvalley! Psst.. tonight movie is Mama!

My friend told me the tuition fee and canteen fee in school way cheaper than here. I am surprise to hear that, even her hubby can afford buying a terrace house!

I have got Optimus Prime *Transformers!

This is happy moment of my son and mine too, both of us love to watch Transformers. As soon as he know there's toy available from Happy Meal. It comes with Optimus Prime, just look at the truck after I turned on the light by pushing down the side of it. Yeah the bottom has the on and off button for the lights.

I am glad, he loves his toys so much and he can never get enough of it. Too bad I don't have all the money to buy him all Transformers. Optimus Prime truck is so cool, I like this so much and I have got two of it now.

My son aimed to get his hands on the last car of Transformers in McDonalds. I have only boys at home, I don't have girls and no intention of having baby anymore. Having kids are huge responsibility and money is one of the concern too. Now many couple have calculate how much they will need to spend on having one baby.

Someone told me that having one child would cost up to RM400,000 until the education level of college? I am not sure but I know I don't have that money. Some parents are rich enough to pour RM1,000 a month for their children during the college. I remembered that I have got RM150 from dad and I take public transportation by bus and KTM to go college during my college time.

Some of my friends are not getting married yet because they know once married they would need to plan for having children. They are not ready for baby in the family, who will take care of baby when they are away for work? Oh well.. let's talk of this next time.

Be responsible owner

This dog belong to my friend, it is so cute! It is old but it protect the home. I saw neighbour here have the dog locked in the cage all the time. So sad to hear the dog barking all day long.

I thought of having a dog as pet but for me it is costly. Bring it to see Vet, the medication and food are not cheap. Grooming as well you need to think of it.

There is some college that have the grooming course, I remember checking for at the website. The college is at Genting Highlands and it cost $10,000 for the course. That's way too much for me.

Stupid is a mean word

I find that stupid is a mean word, how about you? Do you think it is nice calling another person stupid? I have a friend that not understand a word I say and she loves to say stupid and saying other stupid too.

Sad to see that she is not taking words seriously. She thinks it is fine to say someone like that. There was a time she gets it too, and she only realised that it is not good to say such word. But she forgets and started using the word again.

I find that education important and she says that she is not well educated. She can improve by taking classes and learn from others. But she has no interest and no intention to learn at all. She has an excuse that she is old so she no needs to learn more.

I believe I am going to learn until the last day of my life.

Complicated life

I am interested to take part in a contest but somehow I don't know how to say about my life. I find it complicated and still find it hard to accept. I am not good looking and I know that I need to accept the way I am.

My parents love me very much and they will try their best to give me on things I need. I am not highly educated as during school days teachers bullied me. I skipped school without telling my parents.

I don't know why I have not told my parents about how the teachers treated me. I know I am not alone as my friend also feels the same.

How to create website?

As I mention earlier that it is recession time and people are encouraged to learn to use computer and Internet. Most of them will be interested to find out on how to create website. It won't be a problem at all, it is simple and there is no HTML or coding required.

One of my friends is a single mom, I am like to show her on how to blog but first she needs to have a website of her own. It is easy to use and all she needs is 30 minutes to build her very own website. I bet she has many names to tell me for her domain blog.

Very often she asked me what blogging is, even I have told her she is not very understand. I think the best way for her to know about it is to have the experienced herself. Maybe this will be her year 2009 resolution.

Some of my colleagues are worry of their jobs. Even though they might not lose their jobs but the salary will be cut! That's the way to keep the employees. Company need to cut cost!

I know how they feel because I was once told that today is your last day of work! Having salary cut is nothing compares to lose a job!

My cousin wanting to become dentist

I have a cousin that told me that he wanted to become a dentist. His parents are encourage him as his dad is also a doctor. I feel that he's very lucky to have parents and family to support him. Anyway I am sure they would be interested to check out the dental malpractice . I found this on the internet and they know how to use internet as well. That would be great as they can check out this website at their office or home. It's my first time checking out this website as well.

My cousin still aren't sure where he want to study. Anyway this is a website for him to find out more info about Eastern Dentists Insurance Company. Do you want to know more about this company?

Eastern Dentists Insurance Company, (EDIC), "by dentists, for dentists" company, offers dental malpractice insurance. Through its subsidiaries, Eastern Dental Insurance Agency, (EDIA) and Eastern Dental Financial Services, (EDFS), they are a "one-stop" resource for all types of insurance for today's practicing dentist.

Maybe they are many website which you can find info, I think its best you take a survey and check them out. I don't know anyone that has become dentist. I am afraid of them, I didn't want to visit dentist but you know I have to.

With internet access today we can find many info from there. Just a few click and we get them right away. I don't have to go calling and asking them on the phone.

Tuition classes

Have you ever attended any tuition classes in school or college or university? I remembered I have been going for tuition classes since I was a kid up to finished my education in school. I didn't take any tuition classes for college.

These days I seen so many parents giving their children to go for such classes. A month would cost $300 tuition fees for a child. I asked some parents why they send their children to such tuition classes. They said they have to and this way the children will only get good grade in exams.

Yeah I know some subjects the teacher didn't teach at all. You have to attend the tuition classes only got to learn and know about it. Do you have any experienced to share?
