It is a meaningful workshop for us, we have fun baking.

 

 

 

Car's tyre with nail stucked!

No kidding this morning my dear noticed his car's tyre with a nail stucked. So after going to Menara PJX is located next to Amcorp Mall. Yeah it is best to park roadside to go in the building, I find that it's quite a distance if walk from Amcorp Mall.

Then we head to Amcorp Mall for a quick breakfast/lunch! Then back to Subang because he needs to fix his tyre. He went to CKL Subang Jaya Sdn Bhd for repair the tyre. The patching of tyre cost him RM7.40 only!

No water supply in the morning

This morning no water supply at my place, so I need to go Aeon Big to shop for drinking water. There is water tank (tangki air) at my place but it is for shower use or washing clothes only not for drinking.

As I parked in AEON BIG Subang Jaya, there is first three hours parking for free. I decided to drop by Guardian Bargain Corner yeah forget to shop for baby wipes and wet tissues yesterday.

Don't forget the sales is until this Sunday only!

Carnival Job Opportunities for Person With Disability@MYDIN MOHAMED HOLDINGS BERHAD

I was invited to attend the Carnival Job Opportunities for Person With Disability (Pwds) at Mydin USJ. MAJLIS PERASMIAN KARNIVAL KERJAYA ORANG KURANG UPAYA (OKU) MYDIN-JKM-JICA YANG MELIBATKAN LEBIH 80 ORANG OKU DI MYDIN USJ SUBANG JAYA‏. Mydin works together with JKM-JICA on this carnival specially for Pwds/OKU who has interest in working in retail and wholesale industry.

MYDIN MOHAMED HOLDINGS BERHAD had committed and effort involving the people with disability.

Before the Carnival Job Opportunities for OKU held in MYDIN USJ, they have hold the same activiites in Mydin Meru Raya Hypermarket, Ipoh, Perak on 28 January 2013. They have employment opportunities interview on the spot for person with disabilty in problem with education they are also known as slow learners. They have total five of OKU people being hired as Sale Promoter and Store Assistant in Mydin Meru Raya Hypermarket.

With the employment opportunities for person with disability(Pwds), this can create the awareness of for society and other industry to create job opporunities for them. With presence of OKU working force, in a way they can also help cut down the relying on foreign workers. With the experience of dealing with OKU this shows that they are trustworthy, diligent, hard working, honest, dedicated, and productive.

At the moment MYDIN has provided job opportunities for 90 of the people with disability. Type of OKU comes in different races and assigned with jobs at different branches of MYDIN in Malaysia including Sarawak and Sabah.

Types of Person With Disability (Pwds)/Orang Kurang Upaya (OKU) in the following:
Problem with education, they have hired 19 people
Speech & Hearing, they have hired 44 people
Physical, they have hired 25 people
Sight, they have hired 2 people
Total of them are 90 people.

Throughout the employee of OKU serving, they are always guided in MYDIN. Each person is given specific job, which is suitable for them and not burden them.
MYDIN always concerned and commited to all employee including the OKU. MYDIN has provided the public facilities specially for them example the OKU car parking spaces, borrowing wheel chair services, toilet for OKU in all Mydin hypermarket. Just for you informatoin, now they are 12 Mydin hypermarket in Malaysia.

They are no difference in salary of employment opportunities, for starter they get RM900 basic salary. After three months confirmation on the job, they will have RM200 transport allowance.

On the day of Carnival Job Opportunities for OKU, they are about 70 to 80 people attended, among them are En. Mohd Affendy Bin Mat Sani from Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM), Puan Terumi Shikata and Miss Yeo Swee Lan from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Cik Wan Arnidawati Wan Abdullah from Jabatan Tenaga Kerja (JTK), parents of person with disability and media.

Free parking@Carrefour Subang Jaya

Good news folks if you are going to Carrefour Subang Jaya, now they have the first three hours free of parking! No kidding, I am happy they have this set up so everyone can enjoy the first three hours of parking. I am sad to see the MyNews shop no longer available at Carrefour so cannot buy any Magazine from there.

The other day I saw promotion on Darlie tooth paste, three of it for only $13.88 if not mistaken. It is worth buying and I didn't grab any of it!

I have a new hair cut for New Year, yeah Chinese New Year just few weeks away. Now don't forget check out my new hair style on namesherry blog and guess on how much it cost to win a gift from me!

Busy mom here I checked my son's homework and cannot believe I still miss out the work. Yeah teacher circle it, homework need to color only I noticed! Boy, do I need four eyes to see the homework. 

Carrefour Gift Card, are you using it?

I have signed up for using the Carrefour gift card. The Carrefour Gift Card gives you the privilege to shop at all Carrefour Stores in Malaysia. It is so cute, red tomato card you can see in the picture above. You can sign up at Carrefour Gift Card counter or purchase this Gift Card near the cashier counter.

The Carrefour Gift Card is like debit card, you can top up your money in this card to shop instead of carrying cash. There is no point collection given in this card. You will be inform the balance of this card when you present it to Cashier and deduction of your sales in Carrefour. It will be listed at the bottom of the receipt.

By the way do you know the free parking at Carrefour Subang Jaya no longer available? You will need to spend RM30 in a single receipt in Carrefour in order to get first two hour free parking, you can show the receipt at the information counter. The parking fee at Carrefour Subang Jaya is RM1 every hour.

Celcom@Subang Parade

If you like football it is your chance to watch live at Celcom show at Subang Parade. So many people there and you can see some stalls there selling drinks and food so you don't get hungry. Unless you bring your own food it will be cheaper, I spotted the 100 plus can drink MYR$2 a can.

They will be there until 4am there many cars in the area there. Most people near housing area to walk over there.
