Carrefour is now AEON Big

Yesterday I head to Carrefour for last minute shopping, it looks like most lable and even plastic bags names of Carrefour changes to AEON Big. Even the trolley from red colour to orange colour and words on handle no longer Carrefour.

We bought some Chinese New Year cookies for prayers, I am glad to see price range from $5.50 to $8.88. I was shock to see the price of cookies earlier which cost $18.88 at other place. Anyway we purchased the batteries from there too.

Son was hungry and we head to KFC for dinner, I only eat the pepper fried chickens I bought from AEON Big. Sister-in-law tried the paper wrapped chicken which is oriental spicy! My dear had the dinner plate, not to forget my baby had the fries and mashed potata. Son loves the chicky meal set and also like cheesy wedges!

Carrefour Gift Card, are you using it?

I have signed up for using the Carrefour gift card. The Carrefour Gift Card gives you the privilege to shop at all Carrefour Stores in Malaysia. It is so cute, red tomato card you can see in the picture above. You can sign up at Carrefour Gift Card counter or purchase this Gift Card near the cashier counter.

The Carrefour Gift Card is like debit card, you can top up your money in this card to shop instead of carrying cash. There is no point collection given in this card. You will be inform the balance of this card when you present it to Cashier and deduction of your sales in Carrefour. It will be listed at the bottom of the receipt.

By the way do you know the free parking at Carrefour Subang Jaya no longer available? You will need to spend RM30 in a single receipt in Carrefour in order to get first two hour free parking, you can show the receipt at the information counter. The parking fee at Carrefour Subang Jaya is RM1 every hour.

Curry puff of the day

I love to eat curry puff and this is from the motorcycle seller. The Mutu Mayam I also like to eat, the curry puff is not spicy and I like the taste of potato. The curry puff is selling fast and usually runs out. I waited so long to eat the curry puff, thanks to my dad for helping me to purchase.

It is funny when I tell my friend about curry puff they heard it as lollipop. They don't sound the same and they are different, I prefer curry puff than lollipop.

The other day I bought a curry puff and inside has got half egg, it is my first time to eat curry puff that has egg contained inside. The curry puff above picture does not contain egg.

Fo Guang Shan Malaysia

This temple is huge it was my first time there to visit this temple during the last day of Chinese New Year. Many people are there on the last day and even I spotted my friends. It is nice to snap picture in the night.

Hey the radio 988 was there too, but too many people surround there so I stay away.

Parking at Sunway Pyramid

I like to go Sunway Pyramid, one of the reason is the parking is easily find. You can see the number in the screen of how many spaces of parking available. Do you know there is green light and red light at the parking space. This mean that red is already parked, so you need to find the green light which is available. I have parked car at the open air of Sunway Pyramid, yeah it is nice being at the top but I find it tiring to go down shopping then up again with many bags on hand. Well it is convenient to use the lift but sometimes I hate to wait.

Bird Park in Kuala Lumpur

It is my first time to the bird park in Kuala Lumpur, there is only one souvenior shop at the area. I think it there is more like Zoo Negara it would be better. I have so much fun there you can buy some feeder to fee the fishes in the pond. There is a small pond with many fishes.

Yeah you are looking at the eggs that going to hatch. My niece was there and she freaks out because the bigger bird is chasing her. I think if you have my kad it would be cheaper, also don't forget your Jusco card or Credit card. I forgot which credit card, I think some having promotion like you get some discount there.

Tea lady vacancy available

My friend told me that there is a position open for tea lady, as you know it is admin work. They are looking for Chinese Malaysian to do the job.

Tea lady will be doing work like a cleanser and need to make coffee and tea from time to time. I don't think that is a hard work.

Be responsible owner

This dog belong to my friend, it is so cute! It is old but it protect the home. I saw neighbour here have the dog locked in the cage all the time. So sad to hear the dog barking all day long.

I thought of having a dog as pet but for me it is costly. Bring it to see Vet, the medication and food are not cheap. Grooming as well you need to think of it.

There is some college that have the grooming course, I remember checking for at the website. The college is at Genting Highlands and it cost $10,000 for the course. That's way too much for me.

Mask for every week

Yeah my friend and me are pretty busy but we know how to take care of our skin. We need to put on mask every week, so there is so much to share and if you want to take this chance to try out the masks. You should check out the Feb 2010 giveaway.

I like the cooling effect from the eye mask. Always check out if you are buying the genuine masks. What you are looking are genuine and someone selling the fake one.

I know local provide some free sample not mask but skin care products but mostly out of stock when I am there.

Dining in or out door

Here's a picture of people having good meal out door, yeah it is common here that you find people surround the truck to eat. It is called dip and eat, you need to pay after you eat as the owner will count how much you eat by counting the sticks.

I am using my mobile phone to take picture so you see I cannot get a better picture of it. Dine in or out door is famous in Malaysia. You can see many chairs and tables outside of the restaurants.

Dining at A and W

This is delicious Mr. Harmony that you can order from A&W. I love this very much, I don't like the taste of root beer now. It is less tasty and taste more like water, I dine at SS13 Subang Jaya near to 3K.

If you have time you can head there because they are open for 24 hours a day! I some of their staff working at other fast food restaurant.

Clothes swap, anyone?

Yeah this might not be new to you, as it is started to be a heat here. That you can swap clothes to wear, of course they are new and used clothes.

The top you are looking at is new as I purchase it online but later I got it and it cannot fit me. I mean this can fit for M size since it is a free size top.

If you know anyone interested for a swap do let me know, I prefer to have the swap in Malaysia.

Yeah yesterday passing by the huge shopping mall, Sunway Pyramid I saw the sign. I mean there is Mega Sales started and ends on 31 Aug, 2009.

I don't know if I have the mood for shopping as I am not earning much. There will be increase of fuel so I need the money for my car.

Everything is so costly for me these days. I don't know how anyone can survive. Keep one thing in mind! Just buy what you need!

Kek Lok Si temple in Penang

My friends are telling me that they are going to Penang this Chinese New Year. I am so happy for them. They are going for with family and friends. I am sure they will be very happy to go shopping.

Kuan Yin pavilion at the Kek Lok Si Temple in Air Itam is going to be ready by year end. The RM40mil pavilion for the 30.2 meter high bronze Guan Yin statue at Kek Lok Si.

Election Day on March 8

Fellow Malaysian, are you read to vote? Well, you have the right to vote and get yourself ready on March 8! I am going as early as 7.30am I know they are only open from 8am to 5pm.

Remembered to bring along your I/C or Driving License or Passport. This is how you get access to vote as there will be a name list to check on voters.
